Isis Adornments is a San Diego, CA family based business that began in 2000. Our mission is to help make the world a better place through donating profits from our handmade Fair Trade jewelry. Our Fair Trade production is in India and they are committed to: no child labor, a well paid team, a healthy work environment, free medical check-ups, transportation service, education and training and they believe, “The important thing in life is to help and give happiness without making noise and to contribute by giving back to society whatever one can”. At Isis Adornments we work hard to be “green” and support our community, as well as the world beyond. Our designs were created by Christina Arter. |

Christina Arter, Creator I began creating jewelry with my Mom when I was a little girl. I'm grateful to my Mother for my creative expressions. She showed me the value of handcrafted creations and that practically anything in this wonderful world can become your medium when you are in touch with your inner creativity. I gain my inspiration for my designs from the materials themselves. I was one of those children who often had a pocket full of rocks; I am drawn to stones and minerals. I also love color! I rush home after buying mass amounts of minerals, and spread them on the white rug of my office like a huge palette. It ‘s playtime! There are times when a woman appears transformed by the jewelry she has just put on; you can see she feels gorgeous, she lights up and smiles, her presence is more confident and powerful. That is my favorite thing about my work. I love to create adornments to awaken women's empowered, uninhibited goddess within. I use intent to put positive thoughts and blessings into the jewelry I make. I send my sincerest gratitude to all who have supported my creations and continue to do so today. |
